Travel east of Costa Sud to start Watcher on the Wall; that’s your next goal. Get over there and meet Mario and the president. Afterward, deploy and look over the area. The rebels have cargo that needs protection, and you’re just the person to do it.
Protect the Rebel Cargo
Militia vehicles are already inbound, on the road. Grapple over to the towers near the cargo and start attacking the enemies. Use higher ground for a slight defensive advantage, and see if you can commandeer an enemy gunship during the battle. That gives you even more firepower and protection.
Watch the yellow health bars for both sets of cargo. If one of them is dropping even faster than the other, you need to reposition yourself and make sure that the weaker area gets more protection.
There’s a minigun by some sandbags at the base of your towers. Use that if you’re on ground level and need to put the pain onto your enemies. This comes in handy during the second big wave, when even more gunships attack.
The third wave begins when jet fighters come in. Use the AA gun at the top of the main structure to fight them off before they destroy your cargo. It’s MUCH more effective at taking out the jets compared to the minigun, or even a chopper.
From that position, you can even attack a number of distant ground targets. Hit a few of those after the jets are all destroyed, and then get back to ground level to deal with more soldiers.
Destroy the Helicopter
Once the last wave ends, a single enemy helicopter tries to escape the scene. This one is worth going after, so Rico gets onto a motorcycle and gives chase. When you get close enough to the helicopter, grapple onto it and hang from the bottom of the aircraft. Plant some explosives onto the chassis, shoot the chopper with your guns, and detonate everything as you drop off of the craft.
Repeat this, as needed, to destroy the helicopter and complete the mission.
Before starting the next mission, think about catching up on your Liberations and Challenges. Things proceed quickly during the next few missions, and you’re getting somewhat close to the ending. Take a few moments to smell the roses!
