Active: Accelerate

• Cast Time: Instant
• Target: Self

Description: Bend time and space around you to gain Major Expedition for 3 seconds and Minor Force 12 seconds, increasing your Movement Speed by 30% and Critical Damage done by 10%.

This is a solid PvP skill, since it offers a very necessary speed boost and ups your potential damage output. Its instant cast time can also help make a quick getaway or keep your Crit Damage buff active. Don’t expect to run circles around other players with this skill alone, but getting a 12-second Crit Damage buff on top of the movement speed buff isn’t too shabby.

Potential Morphs

Channeled Acceleration

Channeled Acceleration triples the duration of Accelerate but adds a cast time. It’s not going to give you the same flexibility that the base Accelerate offers, but having 9 seconds of improved movement speed will make reaching any objective before most other players effortless.

Race Against Time

This morph will reduce the cost of Sprint by 50% for 3 seconds. We don’t suggest selecting this one for a Stamina-based build, but you’ll find that you have a pretty decent amount of escape potential as a spell-slinging Magicka user. The 50% cost reduction for Sprint might sound like a good fit for Stamina builds, but we found that it only encouraged more sprinting, which still left our Stamina bars drained by the time we reached combat.
