Description: Rigurt the Brash has been granted the role of ambassador-at-large for the Nord Cultural Exchange. Rigurt’s come to Summerset to negotiate with Queen Ayrenn to end the Three Banners War, but the Altmer rules and traditions have flown so far over Rigurt’s head that he might actually be buried underground. Help Rigurt gain an audience with Summerset’s Proxy Queen and get one step closer to ending the Three Banners War . . . maybe.
Talk to Courtier Vindilween
Head inside the Royal Palace and speak with Courtier Vindilween. She’ll request that you speak with three people on her behalf: Sapiarch Tandemen in Alinor, Enigma in Rellenthil, and Justiciar Rolumdel in Lillandril.
Sapiarch Tandemen
Sapiarch Tandemen will request that you acquire items of cultural significance from three non-Altmer living in Alinor.
The three Tandemen are in the center of Alinor. You can steal the items necessary from bags near each of the three, or you can try convincing them to give you the items. Henri Ondare will require payment for his item; Grayscale will need to be intimidated with the Fighters Guild Intimidating Presence skill; Urjurra will need to be persuaded with the Mages Guild Persuasive Will skill.
After acquiring the three items, head back to Sapiarch Tandemen. Speak with Rigurt the Brash, who is sitting next to the Sapiarch, and tell him about the items. He’ll ask you what gift he should offer to the Sapiarch. Suggest Dibella’s Bosom Night Favor, then tell him to offer the Night Favor and the other cultural items to the Sapiarch.
Enigma
Head to Rellenthil and speak with Enigma. Once done, turn around and speak with Rigurt the Brash. Suggest that he offer the Essence of Mammoth to Enigma to help inspire her performance.
Justiciar Rolumdel
Go to Lillandril on Summerset’s west coast. He tells you that he will only offer his favor if you locate the Queen’s favorite cup and bowl, which were stolen out of the royal palace.
Head to Wasten Coraldale, southeast of Lillandril, to find the cup and bowl. Once you’ve arrived at the location marked on your map, use the boat to enter Wasten Coraldale proper.
Wasten Coraldale
The path to the cup and bowl is quite straightforward, but it’s also packed with enemies. Take care not to pull too many enemies whenever trying to thin the herd, or you’ll find yourself vastly outnumbered.
The bowl is in a backpack on the beach below the broken bridge, and the cup is in a backpack in the camp northeast of the bridge. After grabbing both items, leave the way you came in.
Head back to Justiciar Rolumdel and you’ll find Rigurt the Brash. Speak with Rigurt and tell him to offer the Justiciar the Depressed Stuffed Goat, then tell him to submit the stolen items along with it.
Talk to Courtier Vindilween
Head back to Alinor’s royal palace and speak with Courtier Vindilween. Talk with both Rigurt and Vindilween back and forth to wrap up the quest.
You’ll earn a mace, the Club of the Nord Cultural Exchange, for your troubles.
