Description: Vinafwe’s Summerset-renowned garden has a bit of a Strangler problem and she’s convinced it’s the garden-hating Eslion who has planted the dangerous, hostile weeds in the area. Destroy the Stranglers and prove Eslion is behind the infestation to put an end to it once and for all.
Investigate the First Arrangement
Head west to find the first arrangement. There’s a Strangler sitting right by it, but you may not notice it right away. Stranglers start out as big, red buds that protrude from the ground. They aren’t hard to kill by any measure, but they can get some sneaky attacks in if you don’t see them while wandering around these woods. Defeat the Strangler, then grab the shovel in the first arrangement.
Investigate the Second Arrangement
Head to the second arrangement and inspect the Bear-Hide Pouch on the ground. Grab the pouch, then go east to the third arrangement.
Investigate the Third Arrangement
Inspect the recently disturbed soil upon arriving at the third arrangement. Digging up the pile will uproot a hidden Strangler, which will be none too happy about being disturbed. Kill the Strangler, then speak with Eslion.
Visit the Four Water Sources
You’ll need to visit four water sources surrounding the area. The order you choose to visit them is entirely up to you.
Return to Vinafwe
When you return to Vinafwe, you’ll find Eslion there. Speak with him. You can side with Eslion or stand against him; the choice is yours. Speak to Justiciar Oradel to wrap up the quest. You’ll earn Green Gardener’s Booties for your help in solving this conflict.
