Consult a treasure map to see a sketch of a specific location. Locate it, and interact with the small mound of dirt to find the buried treasure. This consumes the map. There are nine treasure maps for Summerset: six you find in-game, randomly, and all over the world, and three are collector’s edition (CE) treasure maps.
The six normal treasure maps lead to caches of equipment, just like treasure maps in other zones.
The three CE maps lead to caches of equipment that work differently. Namely:
- The items inside will never be Set items.
- You will always obtain one guaranteed blue-quality weapon and one guaranteed blue-quality armor piece, in addition to a random additional green piece of equipment. The guaranteed weapon will be of the highest weapon skill line you have, and the guaranteed armor will be of the highest armor skill line you have. These guaranteed items will never have a Trait on them.
- If your highest skill line is 1H+Shield or Dual Wield, you’ll get a second piece of guaranteed, Trait-less equipment, so you can keep using that particular weapon skill line.

- Region 3: Behind the sand rocks, on the beach north of Group Boss: Gryphon Run.
Summerset Treasure Map II
- Region 4: Near a tree on the far (north) grassy bank, above the river due west of Abyssal Geyser: Sil-Var-Woad.
Summerset Treasure Map III
- Region 2 (border): Below the bridge at the mouth of the river leading up to Cloudrest, north of Abyssal Geyser: Rellenthil.
Summerset Treasure Map IV
- Region 2: South of Secondary Location: The Vaults of Heinarwe (southeast of Cey-Tarn Keep), at the watery alcove near a Dead Drop Chest.
Summerset Treasure Map V
- Region 1: At the foot of a rock protrusion, on the beach north of Group Boss: The Queen’s Hatchery.
Summerset Treasure Map VI
- Region 2: South of Secondary Location: The Vaults of Heinarwe (southeast of Cey-Tarn Keep), at the watery alcove near a Dead Drop Chest.
Summerset CE Treasure Map I
- Region 4: Near the campfire of Secondary Location: Night Runner Camp, across the lake from Archon’s Grove.
Summerset CE Treasure Map II
- Region 1: By a far boulder, in the sloping brush northeast of Illumination Academy and west of King’s Haven Pass.
Summerset CE Treasure Map III
- Region 2: Close to a Dead Drop Chest, just west of Group Boss: Welenkin Cove, west of Alinor.
