Boss: Avuuma the Whirlwind

Savage Truths
- Location: Right inside either entrance of King’s Haven Pass
- Quest-giver: Naliara or Mehdze
Description: Mehdze is a minstrel who is investigating King’s Haven Pass’s history in search of material for his next great song. Naliara is Mehdze’s scribe and she’s none too pleased to be working for him. Help Mehdze complete his research so he can satisfy his creativity and so Naliara can finally finish working with him.
Recover Naliara’s Notes
Naliara will ask you to recover four different sets of notes that she accidentally dropped.
Naliara’s Notes 1
The first set of notes is near the start of the upper level bridge on the map’s west side.
After you collect the first set of notes, head into Coral-Splitter Caves for the second and third sets.
Naliara’s Notes 2
Naliara’s second set of notes is near the center of the Coral-Splitter Caves.
Naliara’s Notes 3
The third set of notes is in the camp near the west end of Coral-Splitter Caves.
Naliara’s Notes 4
The fourth set of notes is in front of the gryphon’s nest after exiting through the cave’s western passage.
Talk to Naliara
Naliara is near the eastern entrance of the Coral-Splitter Caves. After leaving Naliara, go speak with Mehdze just up the path.
You’ll need to escort Mehdze from here out, but you don’t need to worry about him taking damage; he does just fine avoiding danger. Guide him to the Ancient Ruins entrance in the center of the Coral-Splitter Caves.
Help Mehdze Find Clues
Once in the Ancient Caves, you must track down three different clues for Mehdze. These are all lined up in this room and are easy enough to find.
Clue 1
The first clue is on the left almost immediately after entering the Ancient Ruins entrance.
Clue 2
You’ll find the second clue near the center of the ruins tunnel.
Clue 3
The last clue is at the end of the ruins tunnel.
After inspecting all three clues, speak with Mehdze. He will ask how he should utilize the information found in the ruins. Answer him with whatever answer you feel strongest about. The quest will conclude shortly after you give your answer.
Pilgrimage’s End (Daily)
- Location: In the center of Alinor
- Quest-giver: Justiciar Tanorian
Description: Five pilgrims lost their lives and Justiciar Tanorian wants you to reclaim their Articles of Faith. These can be hard to see, but when you’re near one of them, an objective marker will appear above it.
We suggest starting this quest from the west side of King’s Haven Pass. It will save you the hassle of having to backtrack later.
Article of Faith 1
If you entered King’s Haven Pass from its western entrance, you’ll find this skeleton above the small waterfall straight ahead after entering the delve.
Article of Faith 2
You can find this Article behind the broken wagon to the right of the bridge atop the hill on the delve’s west side.
To reach the next three Articles of Faith, head into the Coral-Splitter Caves on the map’s northeast side. Head for the exit on the caves’ west side to reach Avuuma the Whirlwind’s nest and, by extension, the three remaining Articles.
Article of Faith 3
The third article is on a ledge to the left after exiting the Coral-Splitter Caves’ west exit.
Article of Faith 4
The next Article is sitting on the left side of Avuuma the Whirlwind’s nest, immediately after you enter it.
Article of Faith 5
The final Article of Faith is directly in front of Avuuma. There’s no way to sneak past Avuuma, so be prepared to fight.
