The Hulkynd’s Heart — The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset eGuide

Location: Near a stone warehouse on Alinor Docks
Quest-giver: Tableau

Description: Tableau is trying to refine her painting craft, but she’s having a difficult time finding a proper model. She believes she’ll find better inspiration from one of the local Hulkynd—a hermitlike High Elf who was cast out by their family as children. There are stories of a Hulkynd living in a nearby forest and Tableau wants you to find them and set up a meeting. See what you can do for her.

Find the Hulkynd

After speaking with Tableau, exit the Manor of Masques and head east. The objective marker will put you right in front of the Tor-Hame-Khard delve. As soon as you enter the area, Manacar, the Hulkynd, will appear. Manacar won’t meet with Tableau until he finishes his current contract. You’ll need to get an Indrik heart to complete the contract for him and get him to speak with Tableau.

Kill the Indrik

Follow Manacar’s wolf, Cur, as it sniffs out the Indrik’s location. Every time it stops, approach it and it will pick up the hunt again.

Abrielle

Abrielle shoots beams out of its horns, which you can block. It can also shoot out a spectral version of itself to knock you to the ground. It will perform this attack after slightly propping itself up on its hind legs, so step aside when you see it move. It will also occasionally create blue portals, then jump through them to appear behind you. This move won’t hurt you, but it can be a bit disorienting if you don’t know where to expect the Indrik.

It has a large variety of elemental attacks, the most common of which is its lightning attack. It will stop in place and begin bucking wildly. It will be vulnerable to interruption, so rush up to it when it begins shooting lightning. It will also charge at you while leaving a stream of fire behind itself. This is an easy attack to avoid, but it can make the battlefield a bit more tricky to maneuver around.

Deliver the Heart

Once you defeat Abrielle, follow Cur to its heart, then track down Manacar. He has since moved north of Rellenthil. He will ask you to deliver the Indrik Heart to someone named Valtarion in Lillandril. Head to Lillandril and enter the Shrewd Brew Inn near the center of town. Valtarion is on the inn’s second floor. Hand him the heart to complete the quest and earn a Hulkynd’s Tattered Girdle for your troubles.
