Description: Several adventurers have been trapped in K’Tora’s Mind Trap, just as you were (if you started a brand-new character). Help set them free from K’Tora’s dark magic.
Find Cainar
Cainar is deep within the Eldbur Ruins, so waste no time heading in to find him.
Eldbur Ruins
Head down the stairs and drop into the hole with the rope suspended above it. If you need to get out for any reason, go to the rope and activate it from the lower level of the Eldbur Ruins.
Head to the room on the ruins’ west side, then inspect the cage on the room’s south side. You’ll find Cainar unconscious and a breach above his head. Examine the breach to enter Cainar’s Mind Trap.
Cainar’s Mind Trap
Follow the path a short distance and you’ll bump into Cainar. He’ll request that you track down three Spell Particles scattered around his Mind Trap and bring them back to him.
With all three Spell Particles in hand, speak with Cainar again to break him out of the Mind Trap.
Find Grog
Head to the northeast corner of the Eldbur Ruins to find Grog lying unconscious on the ground. Grab the bucket in Grog’s room and use it to wake him up.
Find Miriya
Now head to the south side of the map to reach Miriya. Unlike Grog, Miriya is also stuck in a Mind Trap. Examine the breach above her head to enter her Mind Trap.
Miriya’s Mind Trap
A vision of Miriya is just up ahead. Let it play out, then grab the Cowl of the Exile out of Miriya’s pack. Head a little farther up the path and grab the sword Regret off the ground. Continue on and pick up the sword Redemption.
You’ll find Miriya just a little farther up ahead. Speak with her to convince her to leave the Mind Trap.
Return to Oriandra
After freeing Miriya, head to center of the Ruins to find Oriandra caught in a Mind Trap of her own. Examine the breach to enter Oriandra’s Mind Trap
Oriandra’s Mind Trap
Go to the end of the path to find Oriandra. When you reach her, the embodiment of her anger will appear. Defeat it and all of the other negative embodiments; then speak with Oriandra to free her from the Mind Trap.
Once back in the Eldbur Ruins, speak with Oriandra to complete the quest and earn yourself a pair of Shoes of the Psijic Order as a reward.
