Active: Time Stop
- Cast Time: 1.3 seconds
- Target: Ground
- Range: 28 meters
- Radius: 8 meters
Description: Freeze the passage of time at the target location, gradually reducing the Movement Speed or enemy’s area during the cast before finally stunning them in place for 3 seconds when the cast completes.
Time Stop is also an effective skill for PvP, but it works just as well for PvE questing. It places a giant AoE sphere, which will add a gradual movement speed reduction debuff to anyone who enters it. They’ll continue to slow down until they come to a complete stop for a few seconds. It has great crowd control effectiveness and can be used both as a means of escaping pursuers or as an engage against other players.
Potential Morphs
Borrowed Time
This negates healing done on enemies that are stunned for a certain scaling number of Hit Points, or for 3 seconds. This morph works best for those who use Time Stop offensively in PvP-focused combat. If you and your team are ready for a down-and-dirty attack, or if your foes are fleeing, put this in their escape route to easily take them out.
Time Freeze
This removes the cast time, but it takes longer to stun enemies—4 seconds to be precise. It can be used both offensively or defensively, depending on how good you are at getting it in front of the enemy while they are running toward you or away. It’s not going to have the same combat possibilities as the Borrowed Time morph, but it will give you a lot more crowd control and a distinct ability to cause some chaos and confusion on the battlefield.
