Indrik

Indrik
Indrik (Boss)
Description

Sharing similar qualities to the Spriggan, the Indrik is a physical manifestation of Nirn that takes the form of a majestic beast. Indriks are highly intelligent and highly territorial, and attack anything deemed a threat to its current form or the environment. When slain, it disintegrates back into the energy of Nirn. It prefers to stay at range when threatened, using its primary teleport ability to threaten and coax foes away from its habitat.

Abilities
  • Quick Attack (Rime): The Indrik bows its head, aiming its horns toward a target and releasing a beam of frost that deals cold damage. Using a roll dodge is the only way to avoid it.
  • Teleport (Projection): The Indrik focuses, using its connection to Nirn to adjust its position by teleporting. The Indrik’s focus quickly opens a portal at its location and destination, as it leaps through one and appears at the other. It can also retreat back to its initial portal for a brief moment. This has a short cooldown, it’s aggressive, and it can cause you to lose track of the foe.
  • Single Line Attack (Hyper Awareness): The Indrik rises up, violently stomping with a head bow, forcing an Indrik spirit to leave its physical form and sprint toward you, dealing physical damage and knocking back anything in the way. The spirit eventually dissipates. Watch for the stagger this inflicts, and dodge or otherwise avoid it.
  • Aggressive Maneuver (Conflagration): The Indrik sprints toward you, leaving a wall of flame in its wake for a few seconds. Players affected by this wall of flame are snared and take flame damage. So avoid this moving AoE, flame-damaging wall if possible.
  • Lightning Call (Static Charge): The Indrik rises up onto her hind legs, releasing a loud call. Numerous small AoE lightning strikes pepper the combat space around players who have irked this foe. The storm lasts for a few seconds and is interruptible.
