The attack from the Sea Sload and the Cult of Bedlam has caused six different Abyssal Geysers to spring up along the coasts of Summerset. Clearing these geysers is a task meant for a group, so don’t attack the Cult of Bedlam in the center of the geyser unless you’ve got a death wish or are looking for a real challenge. Whenever you activate an Abyssal Geyser, you’ll have to fight around three waves of Yaghra in order to temporarily close it. The third wave will always bring forth a boss for you and your group to confront. Beat that boss and you’ll receive experience points and a Shell Trove—a treasure chest’s worth of items.
Once you’ve beaten the boss and raided the loot, the Abyssal Geyser will temporarily deactivate. Give it some time and another cultist will appear to start the geyser up again. These geysers are great ways to earn a decent chunk of XP and the opportunity to gain equipment from the Gryphon’s Ferocity, Wisdom of Vanus, and Grace of Gloom equipment sets, so destroy them whenever the opportunity arises. We’re sure the citizens of Summerset would also appreciate the gesture.
