Bust into the Syndicate Tower

Drive to the Saints’ HQ to gather your resources and prepare to finally avenge Johnny. Phillipe is holed up in the Syndicate’s tower and your crew is determined to get him at any cost. It may be cliché, but the big boss is at the top of the tower and the Saints intend to kill everyone on the way to the top. The huge bomb they stole earlier will come in handy to level the entire building and wipe the Syndicate’s presence from this area. Go to the Syndicate’s Tower and pull around the side, smashing through a toll gate to get into the building from the garage.

Roll into the garage and drive over any enemies in your way. Hop out of the car and grab the nearest goon as a shied while your team eliminates the Morningstar.

Run up the stairs on the left and wipe out the specialist hiding behind the large pillar. Use this elevated position to take out as many enemies as you can, then run to the opposite side of the room and wipe out the other sniper and guards on the ledge.

By this point in the battle a Brute will be let loose to cause trouble for the Saints.

This area is a lot larger than the small room you were stuck in for the first encounter with a Brute. The strategy for dealing with these weaponless melee fighters is simply to get as far away as you can and unload as many bullets into their heads until they close the distance. Try to get this Brute stuck on the upper area and immediately run down the stairs. If he becomes preoccupied with Pierce and Shaundi, put as many rounds into him as possible before he takes notice of you.

When all the dock guards have been wiped out, follow the yellow indicator and activate the timer on the bomb. It’s not until the timer starts counting down that the Saints realize they should have waited until they got Phillipe before they activated the bomb. The Saints have only 16 minutes to fight to the top of the building and kill the boss once and for all. Go to the elevator to begin the battle to the top.

Hunt Down Phillipe Loren

When the elevator stops, run around the corner and stay a safe distance from the doorway where several Morningstar are lurking. The next room contains a lot of enemies and until the first few are wiped out it is too dangerous to charge ahead.

As soon as you enter this open red area, wipe out any guards right in front of you and immediately turn left to take out the specialist on the ledge at the opposite side of the room. Run over to the other staircase leading down and shoot another specialist on a small ledge to the right. Fight your way down the stairs and run up the large staircase in front of you. More enemies keep flooding in from above.

Take them out on their way down and slowly go up another level. Although the counter is ticking down, there is plenty of time to complete this mission. Take your time and don’t leave yourself wide open to gunfire. Peek over stairs and use objects for cover to minimize your exposure.

Once this platform is cleared, a new Brute will enter the fray. This time its a Flamethrower Brute and he is heading your way fast. Unlike the Minigun Brute, this one is a lot more mobile and can even charge. The flamethrower has a medium range and it is possible to keep your distance while lighting him up. However, he moves pretty fast and he will keep you on your toes. The one major weakness this Brute has is that the tanks on his back are very volatile. If you can put enough shots in them, they will explode and kill the Brute. Try luring him around the stairs and get him to focus on you homies while you aim for the canisters. When he stops to lay down a wall of fire, toss a grenade his way.

Pick up his incinerator when he is gone and continue following the blue indicator up the next stairway. If you thought the minigun was fun the Incinerator is a real blast. This walkway has a fresh group of Morningstar for you to practice on. Fire off the incinerator and invite them to the barbecue. Keep in mind that the flamethrower is not effective at long range. Close the distance before you try to roast your enemies. Also, the flames can hurt your homies as easily as your enemies. Try to pinpoint your targets rather than spray and pray.

The Master Brute Joins the Team

This place truly is a rare weapon shop and it houses one of the most deadly weapons around. When you round the next corner you will encounter Oleg, the father of the Brutes. Phillipe was cloning this massive man, but as he is quick to point out, they have his strength but not his brains. The team frees Oleg from his bonds and the hulking naked man joins your quest to find Phillipe. It would be nice if the big boy threw on a drape or something, but after being strung up for so long he doesn’t want to waste a second.

Follow your new naked friend as he guides you to Phillipe’s office. The slick boss of the Syndicate hops into an express elevator to the bottom floor and there are very few options to catch him. Out of desperation you grab onto a giant metal ball hanging in the center of the building with a drop straight to the bottom floor. As you hang from one had, shoot the guards as they pour into the room and wait until your crew can knock the thing loose. Ride giant ball down to the ground level and shoot the Brute before he tries to knock you off.
