History
Josh Birk is the young star of “Nyte Blayde,” a popular (and campy) TV series about a vampire hunter whose world is turned upside down once he is turned into the very thing he has vowed his life to destroy. He is a teen idol, and loves his adoring fans.
Personality
Obsessive and self-important, Josh is unintentionally obnoxious. The fact that he tries so hard to be “real” only magnifies this even more. He’s used to having the world handed to him on a silver platter and has just come to expect it, not out of entitlement, but because it’s all he’s ever known.
Story Arc
Josh begins the game alongside the Saints as a ride-along. He immediately falls head-over-heals in love with Shaundi, who can’t stand the sight of the guy. Later on, he is hired to use his idol status to promote STAG as its unofficial mascot (using Nyte Blayde in a “McGruff the crime dog” sort of way).
