Saints Row: The Third Guide › Essentials › Weapons

Temporary

These are powerful weapons that can only be obtained by defeating the enemy that carried it. The temporary weapons can never be kept and will disappear once the missions is over, so enjoy them while you can. The Minigun is a heavy weapon that slows down your movement, so make sure you have some cover before unleashing its wrath.

The other Brute weapon, The Incinerator, deals lots of constant damage but only at a relatively short distance. The specialist weapon of the Deckers is great up-close, and Luchadores’ is great crowd control from afar. Lastly, the riot shield provides excellent protection but still allows you to shoot. It’s also a great offense tool that can knock out enemies in one or two up-close smashes. Because these are temporary weapons, none can be upgraded.
