Elite Wildlife Buffs

Elite wildlife, found around the planet of Shear, are indicated by a white plus icon above the creature. Once you’ve killed the creature, you can grab a Buff from its corpse. This is like having two Perks. Now, an icon is displayed in the upper-right corner for the five minutes that the Buff lasts. Looking at the map also displays the current Buff. The following wildlife give the listed Buffs to Hunters and Monsters.

Armadon

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Damage Resistance	35% damage resistance, does not affect shields.
Monster	Damage Resistance	35% damage resistance, does not affect armor.

Basking Cephaladon

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Wildlife Defense	All wildlife runs away from the Hunter.
Monster	Feeding Bonus	100% feeding speed.

Blitzleopard

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Jump Bonus	Jump four times higher.
Monster	Climb Speed Bonus	Climb 50% faster.

canyon strider

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Movement Speed	35% faster movement speed.
Monster	Movement Speed	35% faster movement speed.

Crowbill Sloth

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Damage Bonus	35% increases in damage output.
Monster	Damage Bonus	35% increases in damage output.

Mammoth Bird

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Reload Speed	50% faster reload, quick weapon switch.
Monster	Cooldown Reduction	Abilities cool down 50% quicker.

Marsh Strider

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Movement Speed	35% faster movement speed.
Monster	Movement Speed	35% faster movement speed.

Megamouth

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Ability Bonus	Cooldown is reduced for special ability.
Monster	Stealth Pounce Bonus	Stealth attack damage is dealt quicker.

Nomad

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Jetpack Recharge	Jet Pack fuel recharges faster.
Monster	Special Ability Bonus	Monster special ability cooldown reduction.

Obsidian Grub

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Stability Bonus	Hunters still take damage, but they don’t get knocked down.
Monster	Armor Regeneration	Armor regenerates over time.

Reaver

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Jetpack Flight Bonus	Use 35% less fuel when flying.
Monster	No Bird Indicator	There is no indicator for the Hunters when birds are scared.

Spotter

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Animal Sense	Hunters can see outlines of creatures within a 50-meter radius.
Monster	Smell Range Increases	200% increase in smell range, 75m -> 100m.

Steamadon

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Stun Bonus	Slows the Monster for one second when shot.
Monster	Stun Bonus	Slows the Hunters for one second when shot.

Tyrant

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Health Regeneration	Regenerates health over time.
Monster	Health Regeneration	Regenerates health over time.

Venomhound

	Buff	Description
Hunter	Poison Target	Bullets poison the Monster.
Monster	Poison Target	Poison damage added to melee attacks.
