Evolve features four basic game modes: Hunt, Nest, Rescue, and Defend. These offer a variety of gameplay options for the Monsters and Hunters. Simply hunt each other in Hunt mode, or fight over objectives in the others.
Evacuation mode is another option where the Hunters go up against the Monster in five days, or rounds, of varying modes. The first day is always a Hunt. Rounds two through four are voted on and are fought in Hunt, Nest, or Rescue mode. The fifth and final day is a game of Defend, where the Hunters defend three objectives against the Monster and its minions. A game of Evacuation is a bigger time commitment, but the exciting back and forth between the two sides makes for an intense game.
