Abduction
Abduction is a high-speed attack that latches onto a Hunter and immediately pulls them away from the group to a new location. When activated, Wraith warps toward the target and immediately pulls them back to the point where the ability was activated. You can combine the attack with Pounce to easily take down the now-isolated Hunter. You can also use Abduction to snipe enemies out of the air, which is very effective against escaping foes or for singling out the Medic. Be warned: any mines or other deployables in the path of the Abduction damage the Wraith. Even if Wraith fails to land the attack, she still moves at a high rate of speed between the targeted point and the point in which Abduction was activated. Combined with a few Warp moves, this can really throw off the Hunters and provide you time to reposition safely. Even if you miss the Abduction, you still damage a small area near the point of contact.
Abduction can also be used on incapacitated Hunters to quickly move them to a different point. Moving downed Hunters will help keep the other Hunters from being able to revive them safely.
Decoy
Decoy summons a copy of Wraith that can activate deployables and deal damage to the Hunters. While the Decoy is summoned, Wraith remains completely cloaked. This gives you a chance to ready for a Pounce on an unsuspecting Hunter, or provides you some valuable time to escape and regenerate some armor. Wraith can eat while cloaked, helping to keep her armor up while trapped in a dome. You can use this ability to clear mines away from choke points or objectives without doing damage to Wraith. You can also use Decoy to take down turrets in Defend mode. If the Hunters are hot on your tail and haven’t spotted you yet, consider sending your Decoy toward them. You can also use Decoy to flank the Hunters. For example, send your Decoy around a small rock or boulder at the Hunters, and then while cloaked, move around to the rear and pounce on an unsuspecting Hunter.
Supernova
Supernova activates a small arena that grants Wraith a damage and armor bonus. Although this ability is effective against a single target, it really shines when you can corner multiple enemies. If you can gather your foes close enough, Wraith’s melee can damage them all at once. When an enemy escapes the arena, use Abduction to quickly pull them back in and resume your attack. If activated before using Decoy, the Decoy will carry the effects of the Wraith, including the visual effects.
Warp Blast
Warp Blast warps Wraith toward a target and then fires off a blast, doing high damage in a small area. Activating this ability to initiate a team fight with the Hunters is a good idea. It quickly brings your opponents into close-quarters range while separating the Hunters from each other. When hunting for food, you can use Warp Blast to quickly catch and take out a group of creatures. Much like Abduction, you are vulnerable to mines and other deployable abilities with warping to a target before the explosion. Colliding with a character or object stops Wraith and activates the blast. Keep in mind that the blast still takes time to activate once you reach the target, so try to use it against unsuspecting targets or cornered Hunters. You can use Warp Blast to take down turrets in Defend mode, but Wraith must immediately disengage the turret to prevent her from taking permanent damage.
Special Movement Ability: Warp
Wraith’s ability to punch holes through time and space enables her to warp from point to point quickly. Using Warp from point to point still leaves claw prints if you are close enough to the ground, so like Goliath, use Warp from high ground to maximize its effect.
Warping while in combat is an effective way of confusing the Hunters while dodging a fair amount of damage. Try warping out of a Hunter’s line of sight before activating Decoy to really put some distance between yourself and the enemy.
