“Ah, yes. This ‘winging it’ thing that you humans are so fond of. Of course…” — Bucket
Normally charged with flying the ship, Bucket uses a modified repair drone chassis when the time comes to support his human comrades on the ground. His Guided Missile Launcher, deployable Sentry Guns, and detachable UAV make him more than a match for anything organic.

Loadout
Bucket was built to both track down a target and deal out some heavy damage. The UAV allows Bucket to go out on his own to find and tag the Monster. Well-placed Sentry Guns and a Guided Missile Launcher make him extremely beneficial in combat.
Guided Missile Launcher
Mastery Reward: Increased Damage
Damage per Rocket: 68
Fire rate: 60 Rounds per Minute
Ammo Capacity: 4
The Guided Missile Launcher fires high-powered rockets that you can control in flight. Tap the Primary button to switch to the weapon. Pull the Fire trigger to let the projectile go. At this point, the rocket moves toward the reticle. As long as it does not run into an obstacle, it will make impact there. Four rockets are available at a time, which you can refill at any time by pressing the Reload button.
The next rocket takes a few moments to load up, so space is needed to get multiple projectiles in the air. However, it is possible to guide as many as four missiles into a target. An extremely skilled user could fire all four into the air, and then pull down the aiming reticle to rain fire from above. This requires a lot of luck to actually make contact, but you can use it to flush a Monster out.
The guided missiles detonate as they near their target, so it is not necessary to be too accurate. Launch them into the air, and get the reticle close to have an impact.
Bucket’s first priority in combat should be to place his Sentry Guns, but once they are ready, switch to the Guided Missile Launcher.
Sentry Guns
Mastery Reward: Increased Range
Damage rate:85 Damage per Second
Max Fire Range:22.5 Meters
Max Toss Distance: 6 Meters
Bucket can deploy Sentry Guns that automatically fire at nearby hostiles. Tap the Secondary button to equip them. As you run around, a blue hologram appears where the gun will be placed. If it is red, one cannot be used there. You can place five turrets at a time, as the blue dashes along the bottom of the reticle indicate.
Place them around the battlefield or near objectives for great effect. Monsters may think twice before entering an area that is well guarded. An enemy’s long-range abilities can destroy these turrets, so do not expect them to last too long against a good Monster. If the guns are grouped too close together, they can be destroyed with a single attack. Be sure that all five are deployed with plenty of space between them before you start thinking about firing missiles at the foe.
The Sentry Guns can protect incapacitated Hunters. Place them near the downed character to keep a Monster at bay. This allows a cloaked Bucket to move in and get him or her back into the fight.
These turrets are great against the eggs in Nest mode. Break away from the group, and plant some Sentry Guns around an egg. Select one that is far from the Monster so the guns can do their job. Make sure that they are placed close enough to the objective, or they will not fire.
UAV
Mastery Reward: Increased Tracker Duration
Duration of UAV Tag:30 Seconds
Max Speed:12 Meters per Second
Max Flight Duration: 54 Seconds
Bucket’s head can be removed and used as a UAV to seek out the Monster. Tap the Equipment button to grab ahold of the device, and then hold the Fire trigger until a red bar fills up to launch the UAV. This switches your view to the device.
Moving and looking around are performed as normal. The Fire button ascends, the Aim button descends, and B aborts the operation. A red bar on the bottom of your HUD indicates the battery remaining in the UAV. Once empty, a Battery Depleted message appears, and it crashes to the ground as you are returned to Bucket’s body. There is a long cooldown timer for the UAV, so obviously, it is best to get the Monster marked.
“That is rather the point, actually. I believe the native wildlife found my previous fluids delicious. Why else would they continue to attempt to eat me?”— Bucket
Once the Monster is spotted, keep it within the inner reticle. A circular meter around the outside fills up as it attempts to mark the beast. Once complete, abort the UAV, as a red icon now shows the team where they can find the Monster.
Avoid straying too far with the UAV because your body is left behind, possibly unprotected. Leave Sentry Guns around Bucket for some added protection. The team should go toward the UAV to get a quicker start on the Monster. It takes Bucket a minute to catch up with the group.
As the Mobile Arena expires, send the UAV after the Monster. This way, the squad can track it for a while longer. Be careful, as the Monster can shoot the UAV out of the air.
