When up against Wraith, the Hunters must focus on sticking together and trying to hunt down Wraith as soon as possible. The Trapper is the most important member of the team when fighting Wraith, so do your best as a team to keep them alive.
Assault
Stay in close, and force Wraith to fight you over your teammates. Markov is a strong choice when fighting Wraith thanks to his ability to surround himself and his teammates with mines. During team battles, mines force Wraith to take loads of damage if she chooses to engage your team. When playing as Hyde, use your Flamethrower the instant you see Wraith activate Decoy to catch the invisible Wraith on fire, keeping her in the line of sight.
Medic
The Medic should always focus on keeping their team of Hunters alive. However, against Wraith, the Medic can play a little more of an advanced damage-dealing role. The best Medic for combatting the Wraith is Val, thanks to her Armor-Piercing Sniper Rifle and Tranquilizer Gun. Against Val, Wraith slows down considerably and crumbles underneath the damage put out by your teammates.
Caira’s Adrenaline Field can come in handy while trying to hunt down Wraith early on. You can use the Napalm Grenade option on her launcher to damage and mark a cloaked Wraith.
Support
Wraith can cloak, and so can you! Use the team cloak ability to keep your team hidden from Wraith and turn the tides in a team fight. If Wraith can’t see you, she can’t target you for Abduction or a Pounce. Be aware that even during a cloak, your Jet Pack can be seen.
Because Wraith must attack at close range, Bucket is a great decision for the fight. Using Bucket’s Sentry Guns can do a lot of damage to a Wraith trapped in the area during a fight. Although Wraith may be hard to spot from the ground, the perspective granted from the UAV makes spotting Wraith much easier. You can also use it to scout around corners to look for a possible ambush.
Trapper
Taking away Wraith’s speed is crucial to defeating her. This makes the Trapper the most important piece to the puzzle during the battle. When Wraith is slowed and trapped in a dome, she becomes an easy target for the rest of the Hunters. Wraith can dodge Maggie’s Harpoon Traps by sneaking, but she cannot dodge Stasis Grenades, even when cloaked. This makes Abe the definitive choice for slowing down Wraith. Stasis Grenades do not stay placed indefinitely; from the moment they are thrown, they start to decay (check out Abe’s section for more information). As soon as you drop the dome to trap Wraith, try to find a safe spot to support your team, and stay out of direct combat. Once the dome is in full effect, work with the Support class to keep yourself cloaked.
