Character Mastery

Characters, Badge pieces, and skins are unlocked by progressing through each Hunter’s Character Mastery. For the most part, using all of your skills will get you to the next unlock, but it is good to check what is needed every once in awhile. This can be seen for your current character after each match, or by selecting Profile from many of the menus. Just make sure that you do not get caught up in completing a star when you should be helping your team out. Tables listing all of the requirements for Character Mastery can be found with each Hunter in the next chapter.

Mastery Reward

Every time a star is completed for each skill, you receive a mastery reward. This is always a stat boost for that skill, such as increased range, damage, or duration.

EVOLVE: HUNTERS QUEST

The Evolve companion app allows you to continue your Character Mastery away from the game. It’s a match-3 style puzzle game in which you select your Hunters and go up against wildlife and Monsters. Match 3 tokens of the same color to unleash devastating attacks on your enemies, and fill up energy bars to activate Hunters’ special abilities. Earn Mastery Points to rank up your character in both the PC and console games. Explore the planet of Shear in search of new wildlife. Discover and complete your collection of exotic wildlife in the Bestiary, and earn unique Badge art for the Evolve game. Enhance your Evolve skills by watching your multiplayer match replays from a strategic top-down view, and devouring intel in the Game Changer. Evolve: Hunters Quest is available for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices.
