Nearly everything you do in Mario Party 9 earns you special currency called Party Points. Don’t just hoard your points—spend them at the Museum to unlock all sorts of neat stuff!
Here’s a quick list of all the different ways you can earn Party Points in Mario Party 9:
- You earn 1 point for every Mini Star in your possession at the end of a traditional board game.
- You earn 1 point for every Banana in your possession at the end of games you play at DK’s Jungle Ruins.
- You earn 10 points each time you complete a Minigame Mode game.
- You earn 2 or 5 points each time you complete an Extras game.
- You earn 500 bonus points for beating all of the game boards in Solo mode.
- You earn 100 bonus points for beating Perspective Mode (found in the Extras menu).
