Growing Up...it happens to us all. But you won’t find any growing pains in this lively minigame! In Growing Up, you must be quick to press the right buttons that appear onscreen in an effort to make your vine grow taller.
The player with the tallest vine at the end of the event will tower over their peers!
Watch as the icons on the central block spin by like a slot machine. When the all that spinning stops, quickly press the button that’s shown on the block to make your vine grow.
The first player to guess correctly will grow their vine the most, while guessing wrong means no growth at all.
The icons will spin by faster or slower and for different lengths of time each turn. Don’t try to anticipate when they’ll stop; just be ready to hit the correct button the moment that they do.
There are five different button possibilities, so be prepared to press any button on your Wii Remote—even that tough-to-reach B button on the underside!
Because the vines grow so high offscreen, it’s tough to tell who’s in the lead during close Growing Up matches.
Don’t worry about your rivals’ progress—just keep guessing correctly to keep growing your vine higher and higher. Gotta love the view from the top!
