During this battle, each player takes turns rolling a unique Dice Block. The number that you roll will light up the same number of segments along the gauge at the screen’s top. Each time you fill the gauge to one of the special star-shaped points, you get to leap over to Bowser Jr. and attack him, scoring points in the process!
If you fail to fill up the gauge to a star-shaped point, the next player gets to try. The gauge will continue to fill until someone damages Jr.; the more full the gauge, the more damage you can deal. If you manage to fill the meter without stopping on any of the star-shaped points, you’ll unleash a massive attack on this trash-talking boss!
After you batter away half of Jr.’s health, the little guy throws a big ol’ temper tantrum. Now several Bowser Jr. points appear on the gauge, making it more difficult to preserve your points. But what can you do? Just keep on rolling in the hopes that you’ll damage Jr. and walk away the victor!
