Mob Sleds is a cool minigame in which the solo player must avoid being caught by the team of rivals, who race speedy sleds around a network of icy tracks.
The solo player wins by avoiding the rivals for the duration of the event, while the rivals must catch the solo player in order to ruin his or her snow day!
Unlike the sled-riding rivals, the solo player has the advantage of being able to run wherever he or she pleases.
Use this to your advantage when you’re flying solo, and simply avoid the rivals by keeping one step ahead of them.
Move from one the rink’s corners to the next, slipping past those sledders when they begin to zero in.
Then take the shortest path to the opposite corner of the rink to force all of the rivals to work their way across the area again.
As a member of the rival team, you can’t let that sneaky solo player escape. Don’t follow your rivals toward the solo player; split up and approach your quarry from multiple paths.
Try to seal off as many avenues of escape as possible; this often puts the solo player in panic mode, causing him or her to slip up and make a fatal mistake!
Thirty seconds can seem like an eternity for the solo player when they’ve got a full team of rivals sledding after them, but that’s how long the solo player needs to survive in order to win.
The side that achieves victory during Mob Sleds will be the one that keeps their cool!
