Choice Challenge is a gameshow-style minigame mode for up to four players. Each contestant secretly picks three of the five random Free-for-All minigames that are presented to them.
Players will only participate in minigames that they’ve secretly chosen, and points are awarded based on who wins each game. The player with the most points at the end of the show wins the grand prize!
One hundred points are awarded to the player who finishes in first place after each minigame; 50 points go to the second-place finisher, and 30 points are doled out to the player who ends up in third.
Finishing dead last isn’t ideal, but you do get a small consolation prize of 10 points to keep you in the runnings!
Because each player gets to pick the games they want to play, some games will only be contested between two or three players, even when a full panel of four contestants is playing Choice Challenge.
You can’t win any points if you’re not involved in a game, so just sit back and enjoy the show.
If only two or three players are involved in an event, only the top prizes will be doled out. For example, in a two-player showdown, one player will win 100 points, and the other will win 50.
It’s therefore wise to pick difficult minigames that you think your rivals won’t choose to play, because you’ll have a better chance of scoring big!
One of the five random minigames will always be showcased as the Chance Minigame. This special event lets the first-place finisher score 150 points, making Chance Minigames potential game-changers.
The other prizes for a Chance Minigame remain the same: 50 points for second place, 30 points for third, and 10 points for last place.
Anything can happen in Choice Challenge, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t fare well in the first game or two.
Play hard and do your best to come out on top in every minigame, and you’ll do just fine!
