This minigame is cool as ice! In Polar Extreme, players must rush from one drifting iceberg to the next, steadily sprinting along a treacherous and frigid course. A rescue boat lies at the far end of the run—first one there gets a hot cup of cocoa!
Careful: Those innocent-looking icebergs will teeter and crack as you jump on them, quickly breaking apart under the weight of you and your rivals. Just keep running and jumping as the bergs break up, aiming to land safely on the drifting chunks that remain. This will keep you above the waterline and out of that freezing sea.
If you ever find yourself treading water, hammer 2 as fast as you can to quickly hop back up to dry ice. The faster you press 2, the quicker you’ll escape the freezing fluid. Now hurry and start running again to warm yourself up!
It’s not long before you see the bow of the rescue boat. Don’t try jumping onto the boat too soon; the ship drifts off a bit, and you’ll end up plunging into the bitter blue! Leap to the foreground icebergs instead and circle around the bow of the craft, aiming to leap aboard from the side. Now, how about that cup of cocoa?
