This minigame makes you motor around in a mad dash for mushrooms! During Fungi Frenzy, you compete with your rivals to dig up mushrooms from beneath special panels on the ground.
The player who gets their hands dirty and unearths the most mushrooms will be the victor!
Fungi Frenzy plays out over three rounds. At the start of each segment, the mushrooms that hide beneath the panels are briefly displayed.
Look for groups of three and take stock of where your character is standing, then go after the most mushrooms that are within easy reach.
To expose mushrooms from beneath a panel, simply press 2 to jump and then hit 2 again to come crashing down with a ground-pound.
The mushrooms will then be added to your total. Hurry over to another nearby panel and start pounding away!
Fast reflexes and a keen memory are your best friends during Fungi Frenzy. Play hard in those gardens and grab all the mushrooms you can carry.
Stuff ’em into your pack and maybe cook them up a little later as a snack!
