Tackle Takedown

Are you ready for some football? In Tackle Takedown, the solo player must sprint for the end zone while the team of rivals attempts to tackle the solo player and stop him or her from scoring. Whose moves will score them the win on this little gridiron?

Things may sound tough for the solo player in this sporting event, and in truth, they are.

But the solo player has the excellent advantage of being able to briefly sprint three separate times during the game, gaining a short but dramatic boost of speed whenever they choose.

Each time the solo player sprints, one of the sprint icons in the lower-left corner disappears. Use your sprints wisely to slip around those rival tacklers and make a dash for that end zone!

When playing as the rivals, it’s important to employ sound defensive tactics. Remain patient and don’t overpursue the solo player.

Send just one or two tacklers toward him or her while the rest hang back to defend the turf near the end zone.

Even if the first line of defense falters, you’ll still have one or more teammates in the backfield, ready to bring that ball carrier down. And any teammates who fell on their faces before can play catch-up and make a game-saving tackle from behind!

Tackle Takedown is a challenging event for the solo player, but the ability to sprint makes all the difference.

If the solo player is wise with their sprints, they can use them to slip past each defender and score the game-winning touchdown fairly easily. But if those rivals are keen on defense, that solo player is in for a quick trip to the showers!
