It’s the Mushroom Kingdom’s favorite pastime, Goomba Bowling! In this skill-based minigame, players take turns heaving hefty shells down a long lane filled with moving Goombas.
Whoever hits the most Goombas wins the match!
Your success at Goomba Bowling hinges entirely on your setup. First, watch carefully how the Goombas are moving, then adjust your position and throwing angle accordingly.
Try to line up so that your angle matches the line that the Goombas form as they shuffle back and forth.
Once you’ve found the right position and angle, hold B and swing the Wii Remote just like you would if you’re throwing a bowling ball.
If you set it up perfectly, your shell will smack into every Goomba, bounce off one of the walls, and continuing hitting Goombas all the way to the alley’s end!
Goomba Bowling takes some getting used to, so use the practice mode and perfect your skills. The Goombas move at different speeds and angles each turn, so no one setup will work every time.
Each player gets only one throw as well. Pat yourself on the back if you manage to score that elusive 20-Goomba strike!
