In Pedal to the Paddle, you and your partner must work together to operate a large gondola wheel made of spokes and platforms.
Take turns jumping on the wheel’s platforms to make it travel toward the goal on the far right. Beat Bowser Jr. to the finish and race off with the win!
Steering that giant gondola wheel takes a bit of getting used to.
One player should stay near the top, leaping onto each platform as it passes across the center line and begins to descend to the right.
The other player can hang out near the bottom and jump onto platforms that the top player “sends” their way.
If you can keep to these ideal positions, you’ll leave Bowser Jr. in the dust!
Keeping near the top of the gondola is tricky, so don’t bother if you’re having trouble at it.
You can still move the gondola pretty quickly by hanging out near the bottom and leaping onto the platforms as they pass the horizontal line.
It helps if one player can remain above the other, but they don’t need to be all the way up top.
Moving the gondola wheel in this fashion is significantly slower, but it’s still fast enough to beat Jr. on the default difficulty setting.
The meter at the screen’s bottom indicates how far you’ve left to travel.
Just keep landing on those platforms as they spin over to the right, and make sure that wheel in the sky keeps on turning!
