Skyjinks

How to Play

Hold the Wii Remote sideways.
Press the D-Pad to move and 2 to jump.

Skyjinks is a high-flying minigame in which players must navigate a short but tricky obstacle course that lies high above the sky. Moving platforms, rotating blocks, and bouncy clouds make for a challenging run as you recklessly rush toward the finish line. Race hard and strive to be the first player to reach that lofty goal!

The Skyjinks course never changes, so you’ll always sprint along the same treacherous track. The first slew of spinning platforms are easy enough to navigate: Just run to the edge of each one as you jump from one to the next. You can’t jump very far, so make sure you mosey close to those edges!

Caution

Each time you take a tumble off the course, you lose one of your three hearts. It’s game-over if you lose all of your hearts, so don’t let that happen!

When you reach the rotating blocks, try to cross the ones on the right, or at least work your way over to the right as you go. This will eventually land you on the far right edge of the wide wooden platform that follows, placing you in prime position to gain a leg up in the rest of the course!

The final stretch is the most dangerous of all: Rotating blocks and bouncy clouds will have you struggling not to plummet. Those spinning blocks are usually bad news, so we recommend bounding along the foreground clouds instead.

Again, make sure you bounce from the edge of each cloud to ensure you clear the gaps and land safely on the next puffy platform ahead. And don’t go trusting those small wooden platforms, either—they break apart shortly after you land on them! Once you’re past these final obstacles, all you’ve left to do is cross the finish line. Bolt over to the screen’s far right and make sure you place first!
