In Pit or Platter, your goal is to maneuver a ball around a plate by tilting the Wii Remote to adjust the platter’s angle.
Roll the ball into the spaces that light up to score points. The first player to clear 100 points gets dessert!
Simply tilt your Wii Remote to maneuver your platter—the ball will roll on its own, adhering to the laws of physics.
To score points, tilt the platter so that the ball rolls into contact with the edges that light up—but don’t tilt the plate too drastically or your ball will tumble over the side!
The trick to scoring high in Pit or Platter lies in keeping your ball on the plate. At first you earn only one point for touching the lit areas, but the more you hit without dropping your ball, the higher your score multiplier will soar!
Your multiplier resets each time the ball takes a tumble, so do your best not to let that happen. The maximum score you can earn for hitting the lit segments is five.
There’s a bit of a lip at the plate’s edge, which helps to keep the ball from tumbling off. As your ball nears the lip, begin to counter-tilt in the opposite direction to slow its roll and prevent it from falling.
It takes a little getting used to, but as long as you keep your ball on the platter, you won’t find yourself in the pits!
