In Ring Leader, you get to ride a racing dolphin through the warm summer waters, leaping up to soar through a series of hovering hoops. Each floating ring you pass through scores you some points, and the player with the highest score at the run’s end will be named the ace racer!
Your dolphin is highly trained: With a simple wave of the Wii Remote, it obediently leaps upward with fluid grace. Jump your dolphin in this manner whenever you see pink rings headed your way. These rings are worth one point apiece, but only if you time your jumps properly and pass directly through them!
Gold rings are worth three points when you sail through them, but they require a little more effort to reach. These rings float way up high, so you’ve got to prepare your dolphin for the big jump. Do this by pressing and holding A when you see gold rings on the horizon. Your dolphin will then dive underwater, ready to bound up and soar even higher than normal. Flick your Wii Remote upward as you approach the rings to sail through them and score those sweet, sweet points!
Properly timing your dolphin’s jumps takes a bit of practice, but you’ll soon be gauging the distance and leaping through those rings with ease. Do your best to pass through them all, but work especially hard at nailing those valuable golds—that’s where the money is! The meter at the screen’s bottom indicates how far through the run you’ve gone. Step up your game if you’re trailing behind and make those last few leaps count!
