Keep an eye on the background and look for shells that slowly drift toward the foreground. Swim up to a shell to grab it, then move into position and press 2 to fire the shell at Cheep Cheep. You score three points each time you smack Cheep Cheep with a shell!
Proper aim is important, but so is firing off lots of shells to score points. Don’t linger in front of Cheep Cheep for long, either—the boss regularly darts toward the foreground, attempting to ram anyone who gets in the way. Being struck by Cheep Cheep causes you to lose one point, so keep clear of the boss when you’re not attacking!
After half of Cheep Cheep’s health is gone, the big baddie comes down with a serious case of shell shock. Cheep Cheep will now periodically fly into the sky and come splashing back down in a fury, knocking a point away from anyone who’s caught in the irate fish’s wake. Watch Cheep Cheep’s shadow when the boss takes flight, and make sure you’re nowhere near the splashdown point!
