All right, smarty-pants, let’s see your skills shine in a slick game of Card Smarts! In this unique minigame, each player must play one of the cards in their hand every turn.
The player who plays the highest card will win the hand and earn one point. Be the first player to score three points to rake in the win!
Card Smarts seems simple enough at first, but there’s some serious depth to this deceptive event.
Playing your highest cards right from the start might earn you a point or even two, but your cards vanish after they’ve been played, meaning you might end up struggling to earn that final point if you play all of your high cards too soon.
Watch which cards your rivals are choosing and play only the highest card necessary to win the hand; otherwise you’ll waste your best cards too soon!
Pressing 2 locks in your card selection, but you can move to another card and press 2 again to change your choice as many times as you like.
When time runs out, your selection is made final and the hand is played. Practice bluffing your rivals by locking in one card, then quickly switching to another at the last second!
Remember: It doesn’t matter if you lose a hand or two, so long as you’re the first one to win three hands.
Plan ahead and do your best to trick your rivals, preserving your highest cards until you really need them. And never count your money at the table!
