All right, you’ve caught Bowser Jr. in a cross fire! In this exciting minigame battle, you and your teammate each man a cannon that’s affixed to a mine cart.
Jr. is caught on the rail that lies between you. Blast away to blow that baddy to bits!
Like always, Jr. is pretty good at maneuvering out of harm’s way. He can also take cover behind the giant stalagmites that stick up from the depths below.
Your first order of business is to blast those rocky obstacles out of your way so that Jr. is always exposed.
After you clear out most of the stalagmites, start focusing on blasting Bowser Jr. The best time to catch Jr. is when he’s changing directions—speed after him until he reaches the end of his track, then fire when he’s forced to double back!
Due to the lag of your cannonballs, blasting Bowser Jr. takes a bit of getting used to.
You need to account for this lag, which means anticipating Jr.’s moves and firing a little in advance.
It really isn’t as tough as it sounds once you get the feel for how fast your cannonballs travel. Shoot Jr. three times to send him tumbling into the dark depths below!
