World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Signature Series Strategy Guide CHARACTER CLASS INTRODUCTION

Rogue

Rogue

Overview

Sneaky and sticky-fingered, Rogues are the dirtiest melee fighters around. Rogues use a variety of Stuns and Poisons and can even Blind enemies. Stealth and Distract help Rogues move through areas almost invisibly, and they can pick up some extra money from enemies by picking their pockets.

If high risk and high reward intrigue you, this is a class that’s worth your time and attention. Rogues strike quickly while using weapons in both hands and can often kill anything before it knows what has happened. A Rogue caught flat footed often dies quickly, but with all the tricks at their disposal, even wounded Rogues are difficult to finish off before they vanish into thin air.

Prominent Class Abilities

Stealth

Stealth is a defining feature of the Rogue class from the earliest period of your leveling. Stealth allows Rogues to move about the world without being seen as easily. Stay behind monsters that are slightly higher level to avoid detection.

Combo Points

Many Rogue abilities build combo points, allowing them to set up even nastier attacks. All abilities that consume combo points are more effective as the number of combo points increases. This makes Rogues especially good at finding single targets and slicing them to ribbons. It’s harder, but not impossible, for Rogues to take on several enemies at once with equal finesse.

Specializations

At level 10, Rogues must decide on one of the following specializations: Assassination, Combat, or Subtlety.
