World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Signature Series Strategy Guide BRAVING A SAVAGE WORLD

Changes to Your Characters

Stat Changes

Hit, Expertise, Dodge, and Parry have all been removed from the game and are instead being replaced with Bonus Armor, a tank-specific stat that is found on rings, necklaces, cloaks, and trinkets. Spirit is now specifically for healing classes, and it can also be found on rings, necklaces, cloaks, and trinkets. All other armor slots feature dynamic stats. For example, a Feral or Guardian Druid that is wearing bracers with agility will find the agility changes automatically to intellect when the Druid switches to Balance or Restoration.

Secondary Stats

Two new secondary stats have been introduced to the game. Multistrike grants your spells, abilities, and auto-attacks additional chances to activate. Versatility grants additional increase to your damage, healing, and absorbs, and reduces the damage you take.

In addition, most gear that drops in Warlords of Draenor has a chance for a random bonus in addition to its normal stats. These minor stats provide a small, but useful, bonus to your character.

Movement Speed increases the speed you move by a small amount.

Avoidance reduces the amount of damage you take from AoE attacks.

Indestructible items that have this stat no longer take durability damage.

Leech heals you for a portion of all damage and healing done.

In addition to having a chance to receive one of these four stats, loot and rewards from quests also have a random chance to be automatically upgraded to rare or even epic quality.

Garrisons

Your Garrison is your stronghold in the wild and savage lands of Draenor, a customizable fortress for you and your recruited followers as you level and play through each of Draenor’s zones. Send your followers on missions to bring back rewards; create buildings to unlock special quests and objectives; craft a variety of different materials, gear, potions and more; capture and tame exotic mounts—the possibilities are endless.

New Level 100 Talents

A new set of talents can now be unlocked once you reach level 100. In addition, some talent trees now change based on what specialization you choose, allowing for more versatility in customizing your character in a way that works best for your playing preferences.

Draenor Perks

Draenor Perks are a new reward for players leveling from 90-100 in Warlords of Draenor. These perks are small bonuses to existing abilities, unique to each class, and they are randomly assigned at level 92, 94, 96, and 98. Perks are determined based on specialization and automatically change if you change your specialization while doing dungeons, raiding, or just leveling out in the world.
