Hunter
Overview
If you play a Hunter, you are never alone. Hunters have a pet as a constant companion. In essence, Hunters have a tank and a minor damage dealer at their beck and call, allowing them to attack from a safe range. Hunters can eventually tame a wide variety of pets, so you aren’t forced to raise just one creature.
Hunters deal damage primarily with a bow or gun, but have other tricks at their disposal when it comes to dealing with enemies. You can even feign death to escape a difficult situation! For these reasons, many solo players choose the Hunter class.
Prominnent Class Abilities
Traps
Hunters use traps on enemies during combat, and they have a variety of effects. For example, one trap damages any nearby enemies when it is set off. Hunters learn additional types of traps as they gain levels, and can even have multiple traps set at the same time.
Aspects
Hunters use animalistic characters in the form of Aspects to encourage one type of fighting or another. One Aspect improves a Hunter’s endurance, others help the Hunter inflict damage. There are even ways to improve an entire group’s running speed through the use of Aspects!
Specializations
At level 10, Hunters must decide to follow one of the following specializations: Beast Mastery, Marksmanship, or Survival.
