Achievements are a different way to show what you’ve accomplished in World of Warcraft. To see a full list of Achievements, click on the icon in the interface bar to open the Achievements panel. The panel lists hundreds of in-game Achievements for doing just about anything you can imagine in the game.
While Achievements won’t lead to improved weapons or armor, they do provide special titles, companion pets, and mounts. Sometimes you receive a reward for getting a certain Achievement, while others require you to unlock a set of Achievements that take an entire year to earn! Achievements are in the game purely for fun. You can’t use your Achievement points as currency for anything in game—but you can show them off to your friends!
