With its blind turns and enclosed areas, this track has plenty of great areas to use items. Drop a Banana as you drift through a turn, or send a Green Shell ricochetting off of walls and guardrails. Be careful around the air vents; they’re fairly harmless on their own, but a sudden gust can nudge you onto an item you intend to avoid.
Look for opportunities to draft behind leading opponents. The narrow track makes this technique fairly easy to employ. As always, use the Touch Screen to check for any unequipped items your target might be holding.
The covered bridge is an ideal location to use your items. If possible, drop a Banana in the center of the track, or toss a Green Shell behind you.
It’s extremely dangerous to jostle through the unfenced turns. Even heavier racers should consider halting attacks until reaching the straightaways. However, if you have a suitable item, this is another great spot to trip up nearby opponents.
As you drift past the rain puddles, try to leave a Banana near the curve’s inside edge. If you can force your opponents to take a wide turn, you should be able to improve your lead as you dash for the finish line.
