There are three paths that you can take once you reach this section of the track. Each path has two item boxes, but only the lower path contains a dash panel.
As you enter the large open cavern, you have two paths that you can take. The path to the right has a glide panel that allows you to cross the cavern easily, but you must travel through thick mud that slows you down.
If you continue straight, you have a chance to collect an item box and gain Mini-Turbo boosts by hopping over the bumps in the road. Just be careful to avoid the geysers!
Dropping a Banana just after the geysers before the finish line is a great tactic for throwing off your opponents. They may not see the Banana as the geyser goes down until it’s too late!
