Right when the race begins, you’ll notice a path to the right. There is some terrain that will slow you down if you take this path, but it is a safe option at the start of a race. There are also two item boxes on this path, as well as some dash panels to help speed you along.
The piles of leaves along the track can contain coins, Mushrooms, and other helpful items. They can also contain items that slow you down, such as Bananas, so be cautious when you drive through the piles.
After gliding, you can land on either side of the main path. Each of these spots has a single item box and a dash panel.
Take extra care when navigating the treetop. You might come face-to-face with a Wiggler, and it isn’t going to care if you are in its way; it will walk right over you! This area can be really good for putting down Bananas, causing your opponents to avoid the Wigglers and the obstacle you set for them.
