As soon as you leave the starting line, begin a drift to the right, and hold it while proceeding into the tunnel. Once you see the blue sparks form on your tires, release the drift for a Mini-Turbo boost. Collect some of the coins as you drive through the tunnel.
When you exit the tunnel, drift left for just a second, quickly followed by a drift right. On the third curve, drift left and hold it until you are able to perform a Mini-Turbo boost. Immediately after receiving the boost, begin a drift to the right and carefully pass by the snowman on the road.
Start a drift going around this big curve, and hold it until you see red sparks coming off your tires for a Mini-Turbo boost. Release the drift and drive up to the next turn to begin a drift to the right. Try to drift toward the red fence past the snowman, but be careful not to hit the fence or you’ll lose all your momentum! The reason for this is to dodge the giant snowball that is rolling down the road.
Shortly after passing the snowball rolling down the road, start a drift to the left. As you go around the corner, pick up the four coins.
Drive toward the ramp with the two coins floating in front of it. Make sure you hop as you leave the ramp for a Mini-Turbo boost, and grab one of the coins as you jump! Drift to the left as you land and proceed around the corner. Hop as you pass over the next ramp and begin a drift to the right once on the ground again.
Release the drift you were holding before for a boost, and line yourself up with the ramp ahead. Hop as you go over the ramp for a Mini-Turbo boost. Take care when landing your jump from the ramp; a giant snowball is ahead of you.
If the snowball isn’t in your way, go ahead and hop off the next ramp down the track. Keep driving forward and hop as you pass over the glide panel for an extra boost in speed. As you glide through the air, you’ll see two clumps of coins. Glide through the right clump and grab as many of the coins as you can.
Once you land, begin a drift to the right and proceed around the corner. Take extra care around this turn, as there will be some snowmen in the way. Drift carefully around them and then release the drift for a Mini-Turbo boost toward the finish line.
Tactics for Laps 2 and 3
Use the same basic tactics to complete the remaining laps. Adjust your racing line if you need to collect a few extra coins, but make the most of every drift!
