Rocket start off the starting line and begin a drift to the left, collecting at least two of the coins ahead of you. Continue holding the drift until just before you pass a cactus after the coins. Release the drift and turn sharply to the left.
Immediately after you perform the sharp turn into the dirt, use one of your Mushrooms for a speed boost toward the ramp ahead. Continue up the ramp and hop as you pass over the glide panel. Soar over the train tracks and land just before the four coins on the track.
Begin a drift to the right around the next bend in the track and only hold it until you see blue sparks from your tires. As soon as the sparks appear, release the drift for a Mini-Turbo boost. You’ll need this boost to ensure you cross the tracks before the train arrives; you don’t want to have to stop and wait for it!
After crossing the tracks, begin a drift to the left. Release this drift and cross over the small platform, hop as you leave the platform for a Mini-Turbo boost. Be sure to collect the coin as you jump off of the ramp.
As soon as you are lined up with the next ramp in the road, release your drift for a Mini-Turbo boost. Continue heading toward the ramp and hop as you go over the ramp for a Mini-Turbo boost.
Upon landing, line yourself up with the two gold coins immediately in front of you. As soon as you collect them, begin a drift to the right, followed shortly by a drift to the left. Drift through the three coins ahead of you and cross the finish line to complete the first lap.
Tactics for Laps 2 and 3
Use the same tactics to complete the remaining laps, but adjust your racing line if you need additional coins.
