Oftentimes your opponents will have to stop and wait for the train to pass. This is the perfect time to hit them with a Shell and speed on by! Be careful if you ever have to stop for the train; your opponents may do the same thing to you!
If you have a Mushroom when you reach this section of the track, feel free to use it and cross the dirt toward this ramp. At the ramp’s top is a glide panel and a single item box. Using this path can also help you fly over the tracks if a train is present!
Right before either of the train tracks is a great place to lay down a Banana. This can throw off your opponents and maybe even cause them to slide directly into one of the trains!
If you have a Mushroom, take the path to the left here. You’ll need to make a sharp turn, but the ramp’s top has a glide panel and an item box. The glide panel can be especially helpful if there is a train on the tracks—you can fly right over it!
