ROAD HAZARDS
Snow: The ice can be hard to manage, but it’s a better option than the snow! Your kart slows down considerably if you drive onto this low-traction surface.
Steep Drops: This course has its share of nasty drops. To stay in the lead, you’ll have to stay on the track.
Penguins: Look for these plucky penguins waddling across the ice or swimming in the water. Steer around them to avoid a spinout.
Icicles: Steer clear of these giant icicles. They’re not very sturdy, but you’ll stop if you hit one.
To claim victory on this wintry course, you must plan each drift carefully. Use the banked turns to maintain your speed, but don’t let your kart creep too high up the walls. The frozen pond is starting to thaw; if the ice doesn’t suit you, consider heading into the water. Use the dash panels inside the cavern, but make sure you stay in control of your kart!
