During your second and third laps, take the ramp with the glide panel to soar above your opponents, and avoid getting hit by potential Lava Bubbles.
Try to place Bananas around the sand pits near the finish line to force your opponents to go through the slower terrain.
Drifting through sand pits that normally slow you down is a great way to keep your speed up. Using Mushrooms for a speed boost through them is also a valid tactic.
Avoid hitting the Thwomps on the track—they’ll stop you immediately. It can be risky driving under one when it is up in the air. If you drive under a shadow, there is a good chance you’ll get flattened!
