Shortly before the finish is a line of coins. The water rises and falls in this area at regular intervals. If the water is down here when you pass by, be sure to take this path for an easy five coins!
If you are short on coins, take the path to the right for an easy three coins. This path may take a little longer than the one to the left, but the three coins can be worth it if you are in the lead.
Dropping a Banana just before the sand ramp can keep your opponents from using it for the shortcut. Just be careful when you do this, because you don’t want to end up hitting your own Banana on the next lap!
When going around this corner, you see an item box just under the waterfall. Grab this even if you have an item already; at the very least, you’ll stop an opponent behind you from getting it!
