ROAD HAZARDS
Dark Sand: Unless you have a Mushroom, keep your kart out of the dark sand. Your kart struggles on this low-traction surface.
Cacti: If you venture off-road, remember to avoid the cacti. Crashing into one of these will turn a shortcut into a disaster.
Train: Watch out for the train circling the area. Don’t get blindsided by this powerful locomotive!
This desert course follows a simple path, but the train circling the area makes things a little more complicated. Use caution each time you approach the railroad tracks; a big crash can knock you right out of the lead. There are some nice shortcuts along the course, but don’t venture off-road unless you have a Mushroom handy!
